Parent-Child Cooking Competition
LHK 3A student, Wong Tsz Yiu, and her parent participated in the Parent-Child Cooking Competition, showcasing exceptional culinary skills and teamwork. Among 78 participating teams, they stood out and won 2nd Runner up, reflecting their understanding of Chinese cuisine. This competition not only strengthened their parent-child relationship but also allowed everyone to experience the joy of cooking and deepened their appreciation for Chinese culinary culture.

Primary School STEAM Workshop

LHK students and teachers attended the Primary School STEAM Day, teaching students how to make radio-controlled boat and conduct inter-class competitions. Our students demonstrated great patience and kindness, carefully assisting the primary students in assembling the boats step by step, ensuring that even beginners could successfully complete their projects and participate in the competition. The atmosphere on-site was both lively and warm. We hope that through this activity, students can experience Physics principles and engineering design, inspiring their interest in technology and creativity.

HSUHK Marketing Hackathon

Six students from LHK participated in the “HSUHK Marketing Hackathon” and excelled by winning 3rd Runner-Up. Students were required to conceive and submit innovative and feasible digital marketing proposals within a limited time frame and present their ideas to a panel of judges composed of scholars and professionals. This competition allowed students to apply what they learned in class to real business scenarios. The time-limited challenge trained their market analysis skills, creative thinking, and digital tool application. The presentation segment further enhanced their communication skills and adaptability, which will benefit their future academic and career development.

Our school encourages students to participate in emerging sports. Six students from our school participated in the 1st Hong Kong AirBadminton Championship (School Division) 2024 organized by Badminton Association of Hong Kong,China and AirBadminton Association of Hong Kong,China . 6A Wong Shun Hong and 5D Yeung Cheuk Ho reached the round of 16 in the secondary school open men’s doubles. 5B Huang Yat Yin and 4D Huang Sum Kit reached the quarterfinals in the secondary school open mixed doubles. In addition, 3C Chen Xianpeng and Zhang Sze Ho won the 2nd Runner Up in the secondary school junior men’s doubles. High-Structure Web Challenge Training Camp

In order to broaden students’ horizons, enhance their self-awareness, creative problem-solving skills, resilience, and self-confidence, the Physical Education Department and Scouts jointly organized a “High-Structure Web Challenge Training Camp” activity. During the training camp, students took on various high-structure web adventure activities and outdoor orienteering activities. They also cooked together in the wilderness to prepare their meals and campfire gatherings, enriching the students’ camping experience.
