Parent-Child Cooking Competition
Parent-Child Cooking Competition
LHK 3A student, Wong Tsz Yiu, and her parent participated in the Parent-Child Cooking Competition, showcasing exceptional culinary skills and teamwork. Among 78 participating teams, they stood out and won 2nd Runner up, reflecting their understanding of Chinese cuisine. This competition not only strengthened their parent-child relationship but also allowed everyone to experience the joy of cooking and deepened their appreciation for Chinese culinary culture.

HSUHK Marketing Hackathon
Six students from LHK participated in the “HSUHK Marketing Hackathon” and excelled by winning 3rd Runner-Up. Students were required to conceive and submit innovative and feasible digital marketing proposals within a limited time frame and present their ideas to a panel of judges composed of scholars and professionals. This competition allowed students to apply what they learned in class to real business scenarios. The time-limited challenge trained their market analysis skills, creative thinking, and digital tool application. The presentation segment further enhanced their communication skills and adaptability, which will benefit their future academic and career development.

HKICPA/HKABE Joint Scholarship for BAFS
Congratulations to our Form 5 student, Chui Tsz Wing, for being awarded the HKICPA/HKABE Joint Scholarship for BAFS for the 2024-2025 academic year. This scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate outstanding performance in Business, Accounting, and Financial Studies. We hope Chui continues to progress in her future studies and realizes her full potential.

Hong Kong School Chess Competition
Our Form 4 student, Tam Wai Kit, performed exceptionally well in the 14th “小棋聖盃” Hong Kong School Chess Competition, achieving seventh place in the Chinese Chess Secondary School and College Category. This event brought together chess players from schools across Hong Kong, resulting in fierce competition. During the tournament, Tam demonstrated a steady playing style and outstanding skills, standing out after several intense matches. We look forward to his future achievements in chess and his continued promotion of the wisdom and charm of traditional Chinese culture.

New Territories East and West Dodgeball Inter Secondary-School(Single-ball Style) Championship 2025
Our school’s dodgeball team participated in the New Territories East and West Dodgeball Inter Secondary School (Single-Ball Style) Championship 2025, achieving excellent results by winning the championship in the New Territories East Boys’ Division and placing second runner-up in the New Territories East and West Junior Girls’ Division. This competition shows the team’s spirit of cooperation and determination while also enhancing their athletic skills and competitive awareness. On the court, the players fully utilized their strengths, demonstrating impressive skills and composure.

LHK has three students selected as good students in the Tai Po District. They are Peng Kit Fai Jeff from Class 5A, Cheung Hiu Wai from Class 5C, and Tsui Tsz Hei from Class 5D. Champion of the Carbon Neutrality Hydrogen-Fueled Street Washing Vehicle Naming and Drawing Contest
Student Ng Ka Ki from Class 5D was invited to attend the Hydrogen Zero Carbon STEAM Carnival. Her championship design was officially displayed on the vehicle and named “Hydrogen Easy Wash.” This achievement not only showcases her creativity and talent but also reflects her understanding of environmental protection and sustainable development.

Drama Society Awards
The Drama Society participated in the Tai Po District Secondary and Primary School Drama Competition 2024-2025 (Secondary School) organized by the Tai Po District Arts Advancement Association. The students dedicated themselves to the competition, expressing their pursuit of ideals through drama. Their performance earned them awards for Commendable Overall Performance and Outstanding Script/Script Interpretation.

18th BNCL Certificate Academic Talent Competition
Putonghua and English Speech Competition Awards
LHK had six students who performed excellently in the Hong Kong Schools Open Competition cum the 18th BNCL Certificate Academic Talent Competition. The junior secondary section achieved two 1st runner-up awards and two champions in Mandarin speech, while the junior secondary section also secured one 1st runner-up award in English speech. Additionally, the senior secondary section won one champion in Mandarin speech. Despite the intense competition, they managed to achieve outstanding results, fully showcasing their talent and hard work.

2024 Starland Cup Hong Kong Judo Championship
Judo Team Achievements
Our school’s judo team brought us good news, winning one 1st Runner-Up and four 2nd Runner-Up awards at the 2024 Starland Cup Hong Kong Judo Championship. Additionally, at the 2024 Hong Kong Junior Judo Championships, our students secured two 1st Runner-Up awards. Congratulations to these students! Their hard work and dedication have led to these impressive results, and we look forward to seeing them shine on even bigger stages.

Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau-Taiwan Diabolo Exchange Competition
LHK encourages students to develop their diverse talents. 5B student Chan Ned excelled in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau-Taiwan Diabolo Exchange Competition, winning three major awards. He not only secured 2nd runner-up in the upright diabolo open individual skill category but also achieved 2nd runner-up in the single diabolo open individual skill category. Additionally, he claimed the championship in the high school boys’ individual stage competition. These accomplishments showcase his outstanding talent and relentless effort in diabolo.
