Our school’s Visual Arts has great news! Form 3 students Zhao Cheryl, Li In Wai, Ma Jun, and Yang Yu Xuan collaborated to create and design a lantern that won the championship in the “大埔區花燈設計比賽.” This achievement not only showcases their creativity and teamwork but also highlights our school’s excellence in arts education. We hope their success will inspire more students to boldly explore the beauty of art.

本校七位同學參加了「慶祝香港回歸祖國28周年·畫好香港海報設計比賽」。中三級趙若希同學榮獲冠軍，陳岢琪、李妍慧、楊宇軒、馬毓蔓、馬毓蔚及黃嬿如榮獲優異獎。同學們透過筆觸，抒發了對香港回歸祖國的真摯情感與美好祝願，作品極具表現力，充分展現了他們的藝術才華。

Seven students from LHK participated in the “慶祝香港回歸祖國28周年·畫好香港海報設計比賽.” Form 3 student Zhao Cheryl won the championship, while the merit award winners included Chen Ho Ki, Li In Wai, Yang Yu Xuan, Ma Yuk Man, Ma Yuk Wai, and Wong Yin Yu. Through their brushstrokes, the students expressed their sincere feelings and best wishes for Hong Kong’s return to the motherland. Their works were highly expressive, fully showcasing their artistic talents.

我校中二級馮梓淇同學在全國中小學繪畫書法作品比賽中奪得初中繪畫組二等獎。她的作品以生動的色彩和細膩的筆觸描繪了翠綠的竹林和悠然自在的鳥兒，展現了她印象中的中國風，扣聯比賽主題，令人印象深刻。

LHK Form 2 student, Feng Tsz Ki, won the second prize in the Junior Secondary Group (Painting group) at the National Primary and Secondary School Calligraphy and Painting Competition. Her work vividly depicts a lush green bamboo forest and carefree birds with lively colors and delicate brushstrokes, showcasing her impression of the Chinese style and aligning perfectly with the theme of the competition, leaving a lasting impression.

香港會計師公會與香港商業教育協會聯合設立的「企會財」獎學金
恭賀我校中五級徐芷穎同學榮獲2024-2025年度香港會計師公會與香港商業教育協會聯合設立的「企會財」獎學金，獎學金旨在表揚在企會財科學習表現優秀的學生。期望徐同學在未來的學習中繼續進步，發揮潛能。

HKICPA/HKABE Joint Scholarship for BAFS
Congratulations to our Form 5 student, Chui Tsz Wing, for being awarded the HKICPA/HKABE Joint Scholarship for BAFS for the 2024-2025 academic year. This scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate outstanding performance in Business, Accounting, and Financial Studies. We hope Chui continues to progress in her future studies and realizes her full potential.

我校中四級學生譚煒杰在第14屆「小棋聖盃」全港學界棋藝大賽中表現出色，於中國象棋高中及大專組別中勇奪第七名的佳績。這項賽事匯聚了全港各校的棋手，競爭激烈。譚同學在比賽中展現了沉穩的棋風與精湛的技藝，經過多輪激烈對弈後脫穎而出，期待他在未來的棋藝道路上再創高峰，繼續發揚中國傳統文化的智慧與魅力。

Our Form 4 student, Tam Wai Kit, performed exceptionally well in the 14th “小棋聖盃” Hong Kong School Chess Competition, achieving seventh place in the Chinese Chess Secondary School and College Category. This event brought together chess players from schools across Hong Kong, resulting in fierce competition. During the tournament, Tam demonstrated a steady playing style and outstanding skills, standing out after several intense matches. We look forward to his future achievements in chess and his continued promotion of the wisdom and charm of traditional Chinese culture.

本校共有三名同學獲選為大埔區好學生。他們分別是中五級的5A班彭傑暉、5C班的張曉蔚，以及5D班的徐芷熙同學。這些同學在校內尊重師長、關愛同學，並且對學習充滿熱情，積極參加學生活動，展現了優秀的品德和良好的學習態度。

LHK has three students selected as good students in the Tai Po District. They are Peng Kit Fai Jeff from Class 5A, Cheung Hiu Wai from Class 5C, and Tsui Tsz Hei from Class 5D. These students show respect for teachers, care for their schoolmates, and have a passion for learning. They actively participate in various student activities, demonstrating excellent character and a positive attitude toward their studies.

碳中和-氫能洗街車命名及繪畫比賽冠軍
5D班的吳珈琪同學受邀出席氫能零碳STEAM嘉年華。她在氫能洗街車命名及繪畫比賽中獲得冠軍的設計圖也正式展示於洗街車上，並被命名為「氫易洗」。這一成就不僅彰顯了她的創意和才華，也反映了她對環保和可持續發展的了解。

Champion of the Carbon Neutrality Hydrogen-Fueled Street Washing Vehicle Naming and Drawing Contest
Student Ng Ka Ki from Class 5D was invited to attend the Hydrogen Zero Carbon STEAM Carnival. Her championship design was officially displayed on the vehicle and named “Hydrogen Easy Wash.” This achievement not only showcases her creativity and talent but also reflects her understanding of environmental protection and sustainable development.

中六李奇東同學在一連串的工作坊及面試有良好的表現，榮獲大埔區傑出青年(中學組），成為大埔區五位獲獎同學之一。

Form 6 student Li Ki Tung has demonstrated excellent performance in a series of workshops and interviews, earning the title of Outstanding Youth in the Tai Po District (Secondary School), making him one of the five award-winning students in the Tai Po District.

普通話及英文朗誦比賽獎項
本校共有六位同學在「香港學界公開賽」暨第十八屆「BNCL證書」學術才藝大賽中表現出色，榮獲獎項。初中組的普通話朗誦獲得了兩個亞軍和兩個冠軍，初中組的英文朗誦獲得了一個亞軍，而高中組的普通話朗誦奪得一個冠軍。學生在激烈的競爭中仍能取得佳績，充分展現了他們的才華和努力。

Putonghua and English Speech Competition Awards
LHK had six students who performed excellently in the Hong Kong Schools Open Competition cum the 18th BNCL Certificate Academic Talent Competition. The junior secondary section achieved two 1st runner-up awards and two champions in Mandarin speech, while the junior secondary section also secured one 1st runner-up award in English speech. Additionally, the senior secondary section won one champion in Mandarin speech. Despite the intense competition, they managed to achieve outstanding results, fully showcasing their talent and hard work.

柔道組得獎
本校柔道組再次傳來佳訊，學生於2024年香港星田全港柔道錦標賽勇奪一個亞軍、四個季軍。在2024年香港青少年柔道錦標賽中則獲得兩個亞軍。恭喜以上同學，他們在校刻苦訓練，取得佳績，我們期待他們在更大的賽場上大放異彩。

Judo Team Achievements
Our school’s judo team brought us good news, winning one 1st Runner-Up and four 2nd Runner-Up awards at the 2024 Starland Cup Hong Kong Judo Championship. Additionally, at the 2024 Hong Kong Junior Judo Championships, our students secured two 1st Runner-Up awards. Congratulations to these students! Their hard work and dedication have led to these impressive results, and we look forward to seeing them shine on even bigger stages.

柔道比賽得獎
本校柔道組在第三屆北區柔道錦標賽中表現出色，中二級學生沈依亭在12-13歲女童組-42kg獲得季軍，張軒豪在12-13歲男童組+55kg獲得季軍，李謂天則在同組別獲得冠軍。中四級學生馬毓蔚以及馬毓蔓14-15歲女童組+52kg獲得季軍，而黃衍証則在14-15歲男童組-45kg奪得冠軍。

Judo Competition Awards
Our school’s judo team achieved outstanding results in the 3rd North District Judo Championship. Form 2 student Shum Yee Ting was the 2nd Runner-Up in the 12-13 age group for girls (-42kg), while Zhang Xuan Hao secured 2nd Runner-Up in the 12-13 age group for boys (+55kg). Lee Wai Tin Gabriel was the Champion in the same boys’ category (+55kg).
Form 4 students Ma Yuk Wai and Ma Yuk Man both achieved 2nd Runner-Up in the 14-15 age group for girls (+52kg), while Wong Hin Ching was the Champion in the 14-15 age group for boys (-45kg).

中五級吳珈琪同學在屋宇署舉辦的「外牆大翻新設計比賽2024」中獲得季軍

中六江亦墨同學在由消費者委員會及教育局合辦的「消費•智Fun分享」IG帖子創作比賽中展現了她的創意才能，榮獲高級組最具消費習慣影響力大獎金獎及高級組最卓越設計銀獎。

Form 6 student Jiang EMo demonstrated her creative talents in the “Consumer • Smart Fun Sharing” Instagram Post Creation Competition, co-organized by the Consumer Council and the Education Bureau. She won the Gold Award for the Most Influential Consumer Habit and the Silver Award for Excellence in Design in the Senior Group.

七位學生在香港拓展生活協會主辦的2024年《基本法》宣傳大使設計比賽中獲獎。其中，中四學生馬毓蔚榮獲銀獎，黃嬿如獲得銅獎。此外，中四級學生馬嘉慧、關若嵐、凌雪琪、中三級學生張雯妤以及中二級學生李汶萱均獲得優異獎。這次比賽不僅讓學生們展示了藝術才華，也增強了學生對基本法的認識和理解，對於培養她們的公民意識具有重要意義。

Seven students won the awards of 2024 Basic Law Ambassador Design Competition organized by the Hong Kong Life Extension Association. Among them, Form 4 student Ma Yuk Wai won the Silver Award, while Wong Yin Yu achieved the Bronze Award. Additionally, Form 4 students Ma Ka Wai, Kwan Yeuk Laam and Ling Ki Ki, Form 3 student Zhang Wen Yu, and Form 2 student Lee Man Huen all received Merit Awards.

This competition not only provided students with an opportunity to showcase their artistic talents but also enhanced their understanding of the Basic Law, which plays a significant role in fostering their civic awareness.

薛可兒同學經過筆試及兩輪面試之甄選，獲得第十三屆「原來我得㗎」美國中學交流計劃獎學金, 於美國中學交流一年，入住美國家庭，入讀當地中學，學習文化交流，擴闊人生視野。

Our student, Sit Ho Yi is selected through written examination and two rounds of interviews for the 13th “Yes, I Can” US High School Exchange Program Scholarship. She will participate in a one-year exchange program in the US, live with an American host family, attend the local high school, engage in cultural exchange with the aim of broadening her horizons.

第三十九屆i-Learner「智好學計劃」頒獎典禮於10/03/2024舉行。本校3B班熊才毅及3D班邱卓霖同學獲得全港中文網上學習特等獎，3B班李梓華、農昕喬、王芷晴及徐嘉怡同學獲得全港中文網上學習金獎，以及4B班羅肇軒同學獲得全港中文網上學習優秀學員獎，恭賀以上得獎同學。

The 39th i-Learner Prize Presentation Ceremony was held on 10/03/2024. 3B Xiong Caiyi Rex and 3D Qiu Cheuk Lam received the Grand Award of Chinese Online Learning (Hong Kong). 3B Li Tsz Wa, Lung Yan Kiu, Wong Tsz Ching, Xu Jiayi and 3D Sun Kai Ye received the Gold Award of Chinese Online Learning (Hong Kong), and 4B Law Siu Hin received the Outstanding Student Award of Chinese Online Learning (Hong Kong). Congratulations to all the award-winning students above.
